How do I apply?
How much can I earn?
The answer depends on how many orders you complete, the distance traveled and whether you have a guaranteed minimum or not.
Uber has specific rates for each order: €1.70 for picking up the order from the restaurant, €1.20 for completing the order, €0.84/km from the restaurant to the customer, and a multiplier ranging from 1.1x to 2.0x of your order.
In smaller cities, there is a guaranteed minimum of €12 during certain periods, while in larger cities, you earn entirely from the orders you deliver.

Why do I need to open a company?
The job of a courier with UberEats is a self-employment activity because you are your own boss and decide when you work and how much you earn.
German law requires every courier to have at least an Einzelunternehmen (sole proprietorship) or any other company legal form since your first work day.
What if I already have a job?
With UberEats, you can work whenever you want so you don’t have to quit your current job.
Delivering with Uber after your main job is a strategy that works well in big cities because there are always orders to be delivered and you can supplement your income with hundreds of euros a week (at least!).
In smaller cities, where technically, if you spend 3 hours a day, 6 days a week in your car, you earn almost €1000 a month even if you deliver no orders.
